➢ Finikoudes Beach is one of the most Famous Blue Flag beaches in Cyprus

➢ Finikoudes means small palm trees (now grown into very big palm trees) that were planted in 1922.

➢ It is busy and friendly day and night summer, winter, springtime, activity is a non-­‐stop procedure

➢ The beach has fine grey sand and is some 500m long. The width varies from 30m to 100m

 

➢ The area is famed for its hotels, lively cafes, bars and restaurants

➢ A large number of mini markets close to the beach, with the commercial and shopping centre of the town just behind the promenade

➢ Access to the site by bus and car or on foot.

➢ Car parks are found near the beach and around the site. However it is difficult to find one during the ‘water festival’.
